A history of Great Food, Great Beverages, GREAT SPORTS and GREAT FUN! Established in 1986, the Famous Pub started out as the Famous Deli with a long deli case, where the front bar is now. After a couple of TVs and pool tables were added, it was decided that offering the BEST SPORTS VIEWING in Atlanta would be the ultimate goal. Then, with hard work and by following these four success points, the Famous Pub began to grow. * A clean environment * Polite and courteous service * A product that shows value to the customer * An environment that provides fun and entertainment And grow we did. In 1990 the sports theme was expanded into a vacant space adjacent to the rear of the existing building. A new sports viewing area and full bar were built, and a new name change was introduced. We became what we are today - The Famous Pub & Sports Palace. And after 24 years, here we are with a pool table room, plenty of video games, and a beautiful 64 seat patio. Both the Pub and the Palace have full service bars, and our menu offers the best wings in town, plus burgers, steaks, pastas, wraps, homemade soups, "home cooking" daily specials and much more. In recent years, we have added dancing on Friday and Saturday nights with a new DJ booth and dance floor. The Famous Pub now has 6 high definition 6 foot x 10 foot projection screens, over 50 LCD flat screen TVs, trivia on tuesdays, Texas Hold 'Em on Wednesday, and Karaoke on Thursdays.
